Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: October 6, 2025
Take a Sushi is committed to providing an accessible digital experience for all guests, including people with disabilities. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to apply relevant best practices across our website and online services.
Our approach
We design and build with accessibility in mind from the start. That includes semantic HTML, meaningful headings, descriptive link text, clear focus states, and sufficient color contrast. Images use alternative text where appropriate; decorative images are marked so assistive technologies can skip them. Interactive components are keyboard-accessible and use ARIA attributes when needed to convey purpose and state. Forms have associated labels, clear instructions, and error messaging that is announced to screen readers.
Ongoing testing and improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct periodic reviews using a combination of automated testing and manual audits with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers and keyboard-only navigation). We also review new content and features before publication. When issues are identified, we prioritize fixes based on user impact and complexity, and we track remediation to completion.
Supported environments
Our site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile. We aim for compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies and platform accessibility features (such as screen readers, text resizing, reduced motion, and high-contrast settings). For the best experience, keep your browser and operating system up to date.
Third-party content and platforms
Some functionality may be provided by third parties—for example, online ordering, maps, reservation tools, social media embeds, or payment providers. While we cannot control third-party platforms, we encourage our partners to support accessibility and we monitor their experiences. If you encounter an accessibility barrier within a third-party tool linked from our site, please let us know so we can assist or provide an alternative.
Alternative formats and assistance
If you need content provided in an alternative format (such as large print, audio description, or a plain-text version), or if you require assistance placing an order, making a reservation, or accessing information, we will make reasonable efforts to help.
